I grew up obsessed with cars—spending time at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, traveling to car shows nationwide, and consuming everything automotive. If it involved good friends and cool cars, I was there.
In 2020, I started my professional career at Palmer Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Roswell, Georgia in automotive sales. I currently work in sales while also running the dealership's eBay department, which gives me the opportunity to sell all kinds of cool sports cars and exotic vehicles.
While managing the eBay account, I recently discovered an opportunity to help smaller dealerships facilitate deals when they lack the ability to finance vehicles or take cars on trade. I became the bridge between what customers needed and what these dealers could provide.
That's when I realized I could apply this same principle to private party buyers and sellers.
Private party buyers and sellers had the same needs—financing options, trade-in opportunities, professional paperwork, secure payment processing—but no one to help them. They were meeting strangers in parking lots with thousands in cash, hoping for the best.
Dealerships already had the infrastructure: licensed staff, secure facilities, title processing, financing relationships, F&I products. They just weren't using it to help private party transactions.
